The Rotary Club of North Berwick's Annual Charity Golf Day

Paris Steele were delighted to sponsor The Rotary Club of North Berwick's annual Charity Golf Day on the 20th of July 2022.

This wonderful event has been running for nearly 30 years and all proceeds raised on the day and from sponsors were distributed to local charities, including Children’s Hospices Across Scotland(CHAS). For thirty years CHAS have been offering a full family support service for babies, children and young people with life-shortening conditions. This includes palliative care, family respite and support – through our hospices, homecare services and hospital presence and to provide a new Race Running Bike for disabled athletes at Team East Lothian Athletics Club.

Forest Carbon

To offset our carbon emissions locally, Paris Steele has supported a woodland creation project at Arnott’s Loan near Dunbar, East Lothian, through Forest Carbon. Trees were planted here in 2019 to increase native woodland cover in the region, and to offset our estimated annual CO2 emissions of 100 tonnes. Our contribution will enable hundreds of tonnes of carbon dioxide to be sequestered over the project's lifetime and our goal is to be carbon neutral in our own operational energy use. By using locally-sourced seeds, this woodland will also provide a valuable habitat for wildlife and a new resource for local people and visitors to enjoy.

North Berwick Swimming Club

We have been proud sponsors of the North Berwick Swimming Club since 1997. As always, we wish the children every success in the pool.

North Berwick Day Care Association

North Berwick Day Centre Day Centre has a small number of paid staff and numerous volunteers. It provides a mixture of day care, lunch club and drop-in facilities. We are delighted to work with the local management committee providing complimentary legal advice regarding the management of the Centre and offering free initial consultations to their staff and clients. We wish the Day Centre our very best wishes for another successful year.
